In keeping with the six-yearly refresh cycle of the V- series, Vivo has introduced the V27 Pro smartphone in India. The handset succeeds the Vivo V25 Pro (review) with refreshed and new features in the hitch. The new V- series immolation comes with a slightly streamlined design as well as performance and camera bumps.  All of this sounds good, but can the phone keep pace with competing choices as a "price buy"?  Read Vivo V27 Pro review.

Verdict

The Vivo V27 Pro may not have the stylish performance and speakers in the member, but it comes across as a good budget flagship for utmost buyers. The handset boasts a striking design, a lovely screen, atrocious battery life, reliable cameras, and decent performance.

The lowdown

  • Design-wise, the Vivo V27 Pro isn't significantly different from its precursor V25 Pro. It still uses the aesthetically- pleasing 3D twisted screen, which bodes well for the handset’s slim form factor. The phone comes in at just7.36 mm in consistency just 7.36. This makes the device comfortable to apply, but on the strike, I set up it slippery. The satiny plastic frame doesn’t offer a good grip over the phone. Around the reverse, the phone has a matte-finish color-changing glass. I transferred the Magic Blue variant for review, and it changes its shade to dark blue from light blue when the sun hits the face.   The ultimate offers a good in-hand sense and ensures that the phone stays clean from sweaty fingerprints or smirches.
The Vivo V27 Pro also sports a large blockish camera casing, which has a candescent finish rather than matte, on the hinder panel. The casing doesn’t sit flush with the lattice, and as a result, the handset wobbles while lying flat on a face. Moving on, the phone comes with an in-display point scanner, which unlocks the device in a jiff, and a USB Type- C harborage for charging and data transfer. The harborage can also be used for harkening to music through wired earphones.   I didn’t have to resort to cutlet slimnastics to acclimate the volume. still, the same can not be said for the display.
The Vivo V27 Pro sports a large6.78- inch AMOLED display, which despite its high screen-to-body rate, isn't suitable for one-hand operation. Unless you resort to cutlet slimnastics, reaching the corner of the panel will be a task. Be that as it may, it's a gorgeous panel that offers an immersive viewing experience with its razor-thin bezels and a rather small centered punch-hole setup. The display bears FHD(,080 x,400) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Widevine L1 instrument, and HDR10 support. It labors crisp and visually- appealing colors, which look good indeed from an angle. The out-of-door visibility of the handset is also emotional. I faced no issues using the device outside under the direct sun.  still, for the price, the Vivo V27 Pro’s single bottom-firing speaker sounds average at stylish. It's loud but lacks stereo experience, and there's no Dolby Atmos support moreover.

  • It's an able high-end chipset with a timepiece speed of 3 of 3.1z and an ARM MalMali-G6106 GPU. The chipset is paired with 8 GB/ 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB/ 256 GB UFS3.1 storehouse. While the storehouse is n’ expandable, the phone can add up to 8 GB of virtual RAM using the portion of the storehouse. Before I get to rehearsal-moderation, ten’s a quick look at the standard results
  • The V27 Pro scored points in AnTuTu. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, it managed 213 and, 681 points independently. While the scores look emotional, the handset’s performance throttles up running 50 vestments for 30 twinkles in the CPU Throttle benchmarking test. This is apparent in the phone’s operation as well. The handset would decelerate down and toast up a bit when put under violent loads like running multiple apps in the background and playing games on the witch. But, other than that, the device handled nearly everything thrown at it without any interruptions. It was quick to launch apps and run games like Asphalt 9, Subway Surfer, and Virtua Tennis Challenge easily. The handset also offered a flawless multitasking experience with a sprinkle of apps open in the background.
Talking about the cameras, the Vivo V27 Pro vessels with a 50MP primary detector, which is down from 64MP from its precursor. still, the detector is a custom Sony IMX766V rather than a Samsung GW1 and comes with a bunch of new features similar to portrayal with air( LED) light and marriage-style portrayal. The ultimate is an India-exclusive point designed keeping in mind the color palette of Indian marriages. Unfortunately, I couldn’t test it at a marriage. The handset also sports a secondary 8MP wide-angle and a third 2MP macro detector in the triadic camera setup at the reverse. Up front, you have a 50MP snapper for selfies and videotape calling.
Except for the macro detector, which doesn't work veritably well, I was veritably impressed with the Vivo V27 Pro’s photography chops. The 50MP reverse and front cameras both were quick to concentrate and reuse images shot in daylight. The images may look under-exposed at times, but in general, the cameras did a good job with detail and color delicacy when the sun is out. The highlights, murk, and skin tones were over also to the mark
  • Rating: 3.5 / 5
