India and Pakistan will meet again in the primary group stage of the Asia Cup in 2023.
Cricket News India-The Asian Cricket Council blazoned institutions for the 2023- 24 season on Thursday, January 5. A total of 145 games, including male institutions, will be played during this period. Due to the limited number of meetings between the two skirting countries. The format for the 2023 Asia Cup will remain the same as it has been for the former two seasons. The 16th edition of the competition will feature 13 matches, including the posterior Super 4 stage and the final. Jay Shah, chairman of the Asian Cricket Council( ACC), blazoned the cricketing timetable for 2023- 24, as well as the road for associate countries to enter the competition. With India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka formerly verified, the Men's Premier Cup champion will be handed the final berth. India and Pakistan have been included in the same group for Asia Cup 2023 to be held in September, verified Asian Cricket Council President( ACC) Jay Shah while releasing the justice timetable for 2023/24. Also joining India and Pakistan for the event will be Bangladesh, defending titleholders Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan, and a platoon from the qualifiers. But in the timetable, there's no citation of the host venue for Asia Cup 2023.Shah, who's also the Honorary Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India( BCCI), posted through his social media accounts the “ pathway structure and justice timetables ” for justice in Asia. Jay Shah took to social media to partake in the institution's list for the 2023 and 2024 seasons of ACC matches. especially, the Asia Cup in 2022 was held in T20I format in UAE with Sri Lanka going on to win the event India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan will gain direct entry to the men's Asia Cup in 2023 while Men's Challenger Cup and Premier Cup will be held to determine the 6th platoon for Asia Cup. A total of 13 matches will be played in the 2023 Asia Cup. Six matches will be played in the group stage and the six brigades will be divided into three groups each. The top four brigades will also advance to the Super Four stage where there will be 6 matches before the final.
