James Anderson's 4-wicket haul helped England beat New Zealand by 267 runs in the first Test- eng vs nz test

En vs. NZ Test-England rolled New Zealand 126 to win the first Test in Mount Maunganui by 267 runs; James Anderson takes four lattices on final autumn after Stuart Broad's Saturday- night  Chasing a target of 394 runs, the hosts were bundled out for 63-5 runs. James Anderson struck four times on the fourth day as England demanded lower than a session to decide a thumping 267-run palm over New Zealand in the pink-ball first Test at Mount Maunganui.

New Zealand proceeded on 63-5 in a chase of 394 Stuart Broad (4-49) had clean sailed four of their top six during a scorching spell under the lights on Saturday night and the hosts were latterly whisked out for 126 on Sunday autumn as England made it 10 triumphs in 11 Tests under captain Ben Stokes and trainer Brendon McCullum. Anderson (4-18) dismissed Scott Kuggeleijn(2) and Black Caps captain Tim Southee(0) from consecutive balls in the fourth over of the day- Kuggeleijn lbw to a nip-backer, Southee trimming an lbw-swinger to Joe Root at slip- after Michael Bracewell(25) darted Jack Leach to Harry Brook at short midwicket in the third over. New Zealand compactly delayed the excursionists' fests as Daryl Mitchell (57 no) and Neil Wagner(9) put up eight overs worth of resistance before Anderson nicked off the ultimate and also sailed last man Blair Tickner(8 off 24) 11 overs latterly to put England 1-0 up in the two-match series ahead of the alternate Test in Wellington from Friday (Thursday night UK). England has held its first Test palm in New Zealand since 2008, having drawn five matches and suffered two innings defeats across their former seven institutions in the country. The palm also snapped a five-match losing band in a day-night Test with England have beaten Australia three times and defeated formerly each New Zealand and India since thumping West Indies at home in 2017. The platoon that surrendered to the last pink-ball spin bowling after Australia's 4–0 Ashes win in Hobart in January 2022, it is "unfamiliar" to use Broad's words from stokes and McCullum's dynamic bat.

England's victory under Stokes and McCullum

The' Bazball' period began with a 3-0 reach at home to New Zealand in June before palming over India in the rearranged fifth Test at Edgbaston the following month and a 2-1 palm over South Africa to close out the English summer.

England also came to the first side to win 3-0 in Pakistan and will make it consecutive down series palms if they avoid defeat in the alternate Test against New Zealand at Basin Reserve.

The triumph in Tauranga this week featured the emblems of new England- blistering fur as they scored at over five runs an over in each inning and a bold protestation with Stokes calling his side in about 325-9 from 58.2 overs in their first dig so his bowlers could attack New Zealand under the lights and eventually reduce the hosts to 37-3.

But it also included the spectacle of Broad hovers up lattices during a magical spell, a commodity he has done constantly over the times, with his Ashes 8-15, at Trent Bridge in 2015, a notable illustration.

Broad sailed four Devon Conway( 2), Kane Williamson(0), Tom Latham(15), and Tom Blundell(1) during a sizzling display on Saturday evening as the hosts plunged to 28-5.

That vaporized any faint expedients New Zealand had of completing their loftiest successful chase in Test justice, which remains the 324 they managed against Pakistan in Christchurch in 1994.

The broad's first alternate-innings gate made him and Anderson the fat Test bowling cooperation as they surpassed Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne's record, 001 games played together.

Broad and Anderson were over too,005 by wholes on day three and,009 by the end of a game in which they made history and the Bazball revolution continued.

When you look at the bowling attack, we've got the pink ball under the lights, we executed everything we wanted. It will always be difficult for the opposition to get Jimmy and Brody in your bowling attack.

The way we arranged the game and the pace at which we scored, we were able to move forward before the game, and with the new ball on the first day, we were fit to do some hard damage.

"The idea is to take 10 lattices and we're trying to do that – take the scoreboard down in any situation. As long as we're taking 10 lattices, it does not count how numerous runs we go for. We have morality with the club, but also with the ball."

Stokes: 'Clinical' England wanted to entertain

England captain Ben Stokes

"It will always be difficult for the opposition to get Jimmy and Brody in your bowling attack.
It was amusing justice. Indeed, though we came down with the result, (amusing) is what we want to do. Some days it isn't going to work, but thankfully everything we tried to do paid off."

This is some of the most delightful I have had- I just tried to terminate it!'

" We just want to put the bowler under as an important pressure as we can. These are some of the most delightful I've had. Every time I go out to a club I'm agitated to do what I want. You feel like you can play still if you want."

Southee England played well strategically

New Zealand commander Tim Southee:

" The style they play is going to present openings and we saw that in the first innings. We got nine lattices to the end and in the alternate innings we got all 10- but it's about stopping the bleeding in between.

 'A dominant display from England'

They manufactured effects a little bit to make sure they were brushing at the right times under the lights, but they still showed that baseball effect of scoring snappily to make sure they had that occasion.  To their credit, they played a great Test match.
