Ind beat Aus by 6 wickets to take 2-0 lead,Jadeja's 7-run knock gave India a great win,India Cicket News

India Cricket News- The Delhi Test took a wild turn on the third morning as Australia atrophied in the face of their aggressive ways, to fall from a late aggregate of 61/1 to 113 all out. Ravindra Jadeja finished with career-stylish numbers of 7 for 42 while Ravichandran Ashwin picked the other three as India took just 19.1 overs to wrap up Australia's innings. India surmounted the lowly target of 115 in the alternate session to take an untouchable 2- 0 lead in the Border- Gavaskar Test series.

Having squandered the occasion to take a big first-innings lead on Day 2, Australia had started their alternate innings with attacking intent as they got 61 for 1 in 12 overs. Travis Head, who led the way in that bid, appeared to be in the mood to carry on the same tone on Day 3 as he drove Ashwin through covers. But Ashwin started Australia's lattices procession in the same over when he tossed one over and allured the left-handed Head to nick one before.

Australia still sounded intent on taking the attack to India, and the maturity of the batters indulged in premeditation with the reach and reverse reach and paid a hefty price. Steve Smith, who'd formerly targetted the straight boundary against Jadeja, tried a reach shot against Ashwin and decomposed leg before. Indeed a review could not save him as the decision was upheld on the base of the impact being arbiter's-call. Jadeja started to make lacerations with the big gate of Marnus Labuschagne, who looked assured till he faced the gate delivery that sneaked below his perpendicular club and hit the wholes. The fall of Matt Renshaw, Peter Handscomb, and Pat Cummins put Australia in trouble losing the Test from 95 for 4 to 95 for 7 in 10 balls.

Australia just could not arrest the downcast spiraling as Alex Carey, also going down sweeping, came Jadeja's fifth gate of the innings. Nathan Lyon broke the chain of this crazy shot selection but ended up inside- edging a Jadeja delivery to corrupt. Australia's No. 11 batter Matthew Kuhnemann tried the rear reach and was sailed by Jadeja- making him just the alternate incentive since Anil Kumble against South Africa in 1992 to have five sailed discharges in an inning.

India beat KL Rahul just before lunch. Rahul darted a ball from Nathan Lyon but it glanced off the short-leg fielder and went straight to the keeper. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Shreyas Iyer fell after lunch but Australia could not score more runs. Rohit went following a blend-up in calling for an alternate run with Cheteshwar Pujara and Kohli, He was dismissed by Todd Murphy for the first time in his Test career, which seemed certain for 31 balls. Shreyas fell to midwicket, bowling India out for 88 for 4. But that did not spark the kind of collapse that Australia suffered before in the day as Pujara and KS Bharat polished off the remaining 27 runs to take India 2- 0 up in the series.
