WAR AGAINST ISIL NEWS- The ISIL- K has hovered to launch terrorist attacks against the delegacies of India, Iran, and China in Afghanistan with the motive to undermine the relationship between Taliban and neighboring countries, a UN report has claimed. The exposures were made in a report, published by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday on the pitfalls posed by ISIL “ The conditioning of Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant- Khorasan( ISIL- K) remained a significant terrorist trouble in Central and South Asia, and the group retained intentions to conduct external operations, ” the 16th report of the Secretary-General on the trouble posed by ISIL( Da’esh) to transnational peace and security and the range of United Nations sweats in support of member countries in fighting the trouble said.
"The main point of this is to portray the Taliban as unable to provide security to the country. By targeting political operations, ISIL- K seeks to undermine relations between the Taliban and neighboring countries," the report said.
In June last time, India proceeded with its political presence in Kabul by planting a specialized platoon in its delegacy in the Afghan capital, over 10 months after it pulled out its officers from the charge following the Taliban’s prisoner of power.
The reopening of the delegacy took place after an Indian platoon led by elderly Ministry of External Affairs J P Singh visited Kabul and met acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi and several other members of the Taliban department.
The report further said that an attack in September last time on the Russian Embassy in Kabul was the first against a politic presence in Afghanistan since the preemption by the Taliban.
In December, ISIL- K claimed attacks against the Embassy of Pakistan and a hostel visited by Chinese citizens.
ISIL- K media organization Voice of Khorasan released propaganda in Pashto, Persian, Tajik, Uzbek and Russian with the thing of retaining political, and ethnical groups in the region to strengthen the group’s capabilities, the report said.
It added that one UN member state noted the cooperation between the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement and ISIL- K, indeed though historically the former had aligned itself with Al- Qaida.
According to the member state, similar cooperation included concertedly published Uighur- language propaganda bills, the exchange of labor force, and military advice, and planned common operations, similar to the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement transferring members to join the functional unit of Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant- Khorasan responsible for tracking and carrying out attacks against Chinese citizens.
In July last time, the two groups reportedly colluded to buy munitions and conduct terrorist attacks against Chinese targets in Afghanistan. The Syrian branch of the Eastern Turkistan Islamic Movement had laboriously signed Chinese citizens from Da’esh in the Syrian Arab Republic, a UN member state said in the report.
